Joomla releases "high priority" security release

The open source CMS Joomla was updated to version 1.5.1 on Friday. The main reason was to fix a "high priority vulnerability" in the XML-RPC Blogger API plug-in. The plug-in is disabled by default on new Joomla 1.5 installations, so the vulnerability only affects those users who have turned it on, but the patch is recommended to all Joomla 1.5 users.

New Tech Heroes uses Drupal as its content management system solution, but we also continue to develop sites using Joomla and Wordpress where their features are more appropriate, and we highly recommend all three products.
